Over here on the left would occur in and up on the right side will do the same situations being carried out in and up in between the eyes are gonna be there in a nose so right in now right up now where we’re going to draw a straight line proceeding across straight line come down to short-lived threads on either side where the swerve in towards the middle but we’re gonna leave a little crack in the centre now so coming in and down in and down on the right exactly connect it with a shorter than the line across from now we’re going to move on down and meet the mouse we’re going to draw a big swerve so it’s like really upset so it’s going to occur from the left up underneath the nose and then down on the right side started on that feature when you go up we’re just going to come down a little chip higher than we have on the left from the bottom of the nose right in the centre of a little front connecting the cheek and the nose let’s work on the way all over the outer boundary of the brain so exactly up now we’re going to draw a swerve from left to right exactly above each I so right here going to curb across enough to write about their i’m going to add a little chip of fur hard so from this feature will go out and back in time another one used to go and back in we depict three of these and we’re just sort of working out way out towards the left here on the right will do the same happen out and in a little bit of a fix that we’re outlining one more like that such work our room down the side of the look so from now existed around the eye down towards the chin coming down like that on the right will swerve down down towards the chin from here gonna add a little bit of fleeces

draw it in exactly like a little bit of a billow on the right feature will do the same things are coming out and then in let’s work our room down towards the cup so right in the middle now I depict two threads occur in towards each other on the left incur in and down on the right occur in and down we depict the first Paul on the left over now and come out and draw this back up going to layer these little interruption so right on the side now and depict another fix and i will draw one more but this one’s going to go over first part that’s going to go over there at the top of this swerve going to go up the short-lived little swerve like that let’s do the same happen on the right starting from the heel coming around first toe on the side now passing the second toe and then the third largest toe is going to go up and over the second to like that the top of this swerve exactly curl up like that in between the heels depict a straight line across the lower figure let’s draw on the posterior legs so up now we depict the leg first so on the left feature swerve out and then down to write about there was the same height as we have on the side of their own bodies on the right will front it up used to go and then down this sucks the paws so right here is step up and  then exactly drooping out and then right in behind the front area there are a few little Paul line so right here swerve and depict it twice to the same happen on the right side right now next is just a little bit longer to step up going out towards the cup like we did on the left I’m going to push this back in with the restrain in behind the front paw and a few little curves for the interruption i don’t think we’re gonna have a fanny we’re going to swerve this around the body so we start on the outside first so going up now to limits out like we did with this first we’re going to push this back in the opposite attitude of the shortcut going up now I curve around the tip-off of the fanny and push that back in the short-lived front we can seem a little bit fluffy so we can occur out again push that back in final one we’re gonna used to go now this one we’re going to go over it exactly stroking the tip-off of that paw they’re developing across like that we go back towards the tip-off of the paw strong another wrinkle front like that and that’s pretty much it there we have it there’s Grumpy Cat.

I don’t think we’re gonna have a fanny we’re going to swerve this around the body, so we start on the outside first so going up now to limits out like we did with this first we’re going to push this back in the opposite attitude of the shortcut going up now I curve around the tip-off of the fanny and push that back in the short-lived front we can seem a little bit fluffy so we can occur out again push that back in final one we’re gonna used to go now this one we’re going to go over it exactly stroking the tip-off of that paw they’re developing across like that we go back towards the tip-off of the paw strong another wrinkle front like that and that’s pretty much it there we have it there’s Grumpy Cat.

Pop Art Clay Portraits – Lesson Plan

In the 1950 s, Andy Warhol created silkscreen portraits of luminaries using mass-produced images and non-traditional blocks of colour, which became Pop Art icons. I’m going to show you a merriment and easy-going technique to transmit and replicate images onto clay tiles. Then, by adding fascinating colour combinations, students can create their own Pop Art self portraits. Hi, I’m Mary Skydema and I’d like to introduce you to Pop Art Clay Portraits. First, have students find a photo of themselves and make a black and white-hot imitate of it. A be closed down works best, and it should be as simple as possible. You’ll want your work tables to be covered in canvas to keep the clay from fastening. A white-hot clay torso works best for vibrant colour and you can cut the slabs right from the pulley-block. I’ve rolled a slab of clay approximately one quarter inch thick-skulled. A thickness strip on each side of the slab helps to keep the slab even, and you want to roll both courses across the slab to align the clay specks and reduce your chances of warping subsequently. The slab is just slightly larger than the image I’m going to use.

So have your students choose which features of the photograph is required to be transmitted to establish the best available, simplified line drawing. I’m going to use a gel pen to go over the lines of the photo that I’m going to carry to the clay. I like to mark the four corners for ease of cutting subsequently. I just like to throw small-minded little marks in the corners with my gel pen that I’m going to apply as a guide.

So we’re going to region the image face down onto the clay and rub it with your fingers. We’re just going to let it is participating in a few seconds. We’re going to peel up the working paper to check the carry-over. If it’s not quite dark enough, wait a few more seconds and remove the paper. If your clay is slightly drier, a little fog on the back of the working paper will do the trick. Your likenes has transmitted, and as you can see it’s now a mirror image.

At this degree I’m going to use a ruler to cut the slab into a tile. I’m using these little marks I left as a guide on the corners. Okay, and you are able to smooth the edges of the tile slightly with a little sea on your fingertips, and then we’re going to start engraving. Now we’re going to use a small ribbon tool to engrave into our image. This soft slab can quite easily be engraved. Some might prefer to let the clay stiffen slightly, and you’ll figure out which you prefer. In addition to using these ribbon tools to engrave, you can also merely use a single stratum of a baggie, region it over the tile, and use a pen to just go over your paths. This is going to result in a nice smooth rim without burrs. You can see how that is about to change. Try not to move the tile other than to flip it over once or twice for even drying. When the tile is totally dry, or burnt, it’s time to apply colour.

I like to fill all my engraved paths in with black paint to mimic the black outline many of the Pop artists utilized. If your tile is burnt, you can paint black acrylic paint into the lines. I’m just moistening it a little bit with clear sea. I’m just going to take some plain age-old black acrylic and brush it over about a 1/4 of the tile a period. Got to move a little bit quickly so that you don’t have a whole lot remove, then you just go back with your sponge, and wipe away the surface of the tile.

It’s going to leave the black acrylic in the carved regions. If your tile is stimulated of breath dry clay, the black paint must be painted into the carved regions. Now with a small brush we can apply colour. For this project Blick Studio Acrylics dedicates good coverage on either the fire tile or the breath dry one. Pastel are another option, but should be sprayed with a fixative as a final step. Oil colours likewise progressing well, and impart a very profound colour saturated finished product, and ceramic underglazes is so great as is or with a clear glaze on top.

Recycled Crayon Art Project – by WondermintKids.com

Hello, today on Wondermint Kids, I’m here with my friend, Flora, who is a great artist. Hi! And we are making a cute and recreation activity made out of recycled crayons. We learned it from Martha Stewart! All right, to get started you’ll requirement a few old-fashioned crayons, a muffin pan … … and a mother or guardian to help you. Okay, “if youre trying to” get started, take a lot of crayons and start peeling the wrappers off.

Now you can break up your crayons into minuscule sections. If it’s too hard exploiting your thumbs … … ask an adult and they are able to cut it up with a spear. Now you’re going to take a few crayons and put them in your muffin pan. And you are able to make any blueprint you miss and use any colourings you miss. Now, ask an adult to heat the oven to 150 degrees and then put your muffin pan into the oven. And voila! This is what they’ll look like! To get this craftsmanship intuition and more, visit our blog, wondermintkids.com. Bye! Wow! That is so cool! That looks like an eraser

Learning to Draw: How to Draw a Horse – Fine Art-Tips.

I am Leonardo Pereznieto and I am so glad to see you again. Today I’ll draw a pony for you. I begin by practicing the line that I want to do. Then I sketch an organic pattern same to a peanut. This is how I start drawing a pony if it is in profile. Then I gently label where the intelligence got to go get up to, and also the sides of the animal. This is very light, and maybe it can’t be seen very well. I sketch the muscles which for right now will have a brilliant triangular influence. I sustain by now establishing some pattern to the horse. I do the leg with straight lines.

The hoof leads about here. And now the hind leg. I will rapidity this out otherwise some of my students may fall asleep, and I will get disconcerted with the store. I do the form of the intelligence, and the features. This peanut is slightly long, I’ll make it shorter. The tush. I begin shadowing. I’m utilizing a couple of pictures as a remark, but I require the muscles and bones to show in my pull, it was, therefore, gazing richer and most realistic, but as I can’t see those in the picture, I am also utilizing a pony anatomy chart. I hope that with all of this, I can get a good ensue. Here, for example, I glean some muscles. I lightly indicate the rib. And I continue in this way, shadowing while doing the pattern and the details.

There are some other bones that one may watch, like the knee. I reinforce some darkness and then put some reflexions with the eraser. Exceedingly well. I hope at no time I woke up everyone else who has fallen asleep, but predominantly I hope that it was helpful for those who manage to stay awake. In the comments, I would love to know what do you think about it.

Screen Print your own t-shirts // How-To

I like to see nonsense. Today I’m going to show you how to screen book your own t-shirts. You’re going to need a screen, a squeegee, and some photo emulsion. This nonsense comes in 2 responsibilities. You’re going to add a little ocean to the little bottle of sensitizer, and mix it up. That slackens it from the sides of the bottle, and then you can spew it into the emulsion. Then you’re going to combination that all together truly, really well, until it’s a consistent green color.

It might take a little while, but you want to make sure that you get it fully consistent. Once you have it, you spew a bit of it onto the screen. You don’t need to use very much because it spreads truly thin once you use the squeegee. Make sure to get the part stuff clothed where you’re artistry “re gonna be all” and make sure it’s really, truly even Now, don’t leave this out in the light.Gave a love on it to dehydrate and pass the light-headeds off. You want it to dry in the dark. Once it’s dry you do want to work immediately because this nonsense is photosensitive, so the longer the light’s on it, the quicker it’s going to set. Reproduce out your artistry on some openness, and you can do this at any office supplies store, and then lay them backwards on the back of the screen. Lay a piece of glass over them to propagandize them down against the screen, and then provided a really light light on top of it for about 3-45 minutes. So, while we’re waiting on that, I want to tell you about this. In this box is a queen-size mattress. Unbelievably it fits in this box. It’s made by a company announced Casper, and it’s a combination of reminiscence and latex sud and they squish it down into a bag– persist it in this box. They ship it to you, you take a tool, and you rip open the luggage, and the whole mattress really inflates.

If you want to watch now, you can see a video about me making a king-size couch and on that berthed we use a Casper mattress. So I’ve been sleeping on it since I manufactured that video, and I can candidly articulate that I truly adore the mattress. Super cozy, I recommend them all the time when people ask my if I actually like them or not because I truly do. The cool stuff is you get to sleep on it for 100 lights and if you don’t like it for any ground, they’ll developed get onto. So if you are looking for a mattress, I clearly indicate checking this out go to casper.com. You can use the code “MAKE” and that’ll got to get $50 off anything you order which is pretty awesome. So, is checked’ em out. Thanks to Casper for patronizing this video. Let’s get back to the publication. The light-footed exposes and thickens the emulsion that is not covered by the design, so you can see the lighter green stuff now didn’t get exposed. You can use a light-footed scatter and a soft toothbrush to improve remove this area.

The mode printing works is that the green province acts as a concealment. The white–or lighter area–lets the ink through onto the surface that you’re publication on. You want to do this gently, because you don’t want to remove anything that you actually involve This may take a little bit of period, and sometimes you may have missteps. If you have areas that are missteps, or nonsense you don’t want to book more, you can use some strip to cover them up. Use painter’s strip and not duct strip — the passage strip will rip off the emulsion. -Now lay out your shirt and target your screen, then include a nice thick-skulled be bead of the screen printing ink It’s best to have somebody else accommodate your screen and then pull the squeegee down across your book If you click here you can see one of my first videos on this direct was how to make a four hue printing press, this obliges this process- a lot easier but it’s really exactly the same you hook- in the screen text it up with your core text and then you can get repeatable nice prints- on multiple shirts you lay your shirt out in the same way, and then use the machine to contained the screen down in place you still gather it the same way and get just about the same outcomes you want to heat provided these by hurling them in the dryer for a few minutes You can reuse the screens extremely if you’re finished with them by putting some photo emulsion remover on them This is a simple solution that you can just kind of clean on with a newspaper towel or a toothbrush Make sure you situated it on both sides and it doesn’t have to stay on longer than got a couple of minutes Then you can use a hose to wash out all of the emulsion If “youre using” pitch-dark ink sometimes it will discolour the screen itself but you can still reprint through them- as long as the emulsion is croak Now it takes a little bit of practice, when you do this you are able end up having some bad shirts it takes a little while to get the detect to seeing how hard you need to push down the squeegee and how to do it evenly because you want to make sure you get a really even gather, so that the- ink is spread evenly through the screen So it’s best to find some old-fashioned t-shirts to tradition on before you try and use like your nice shirts that you purchased for this.

Now screen printing works on all sorts of things Textiles, so any type of t-shirt, canvas, luggage, aprons, even hats- if you can work on the form of the hat. All sorts of nonsense like that, any type of attire employs really really well. Just make sure to heat provide it into the clothing just like I testified you You can also print on paper if you wanted to see signs or summons, events like that, newspaper directs really well.

I’ve also engraved on wood several times You can watch my long committee video where now where I screen engraved my logo on it that was really easy to do I’ve done it for several your customers to situated their logo on events that I’ve manufactured -and it directs amazingly well and I’ve also done it on metal you just have to make sure you situated some kind of a clearly defined hair over it it to protect it because it will scrape off the metal pretty easily as long as you clear coat it you should be good to go so if you’re interested in engraving I’m going to have a link below to my site which will have a schedule of all the stuff I used and ties-in for you to find everything this is necessary so you can book on your own I hope you like this project and if you did let me know down in the comments below or at Iliketomakestuff.com I love to hear from you guys, I love to see the stuff you’re working on it’s really inspiring for me so please continue to share that with me.

You can find me on all of the social networks, which ever one you like best available, I’m probably there. I have a lot more nonsense for you to check out in podcast and proves and all sorts of nonsense and if you want to help support these videos, patreon is the best mode to do that you can click here you are able to click here -and catch out all about that. Thanks for watching chaps, thanks to Casper for patronizing this video and I’ll see you next time ..

Geometric Abstract Art lesson preview how to paint large texture artworks

Today we’re gonna take you through an abstract artwork. We’ll do it step-by-step. But we’ll fast motion it up for you, so you’ll get to see the whole situation are working together. So sit by and enjoy.[ music] Well here we have another finished artwork. I hope you enjoyed watching the beginnings of this artwork are working together. I wasn’t able to show you the full artwork because it’s such a slow artwork to create. You gotta be so slow and meticulous. It would have taken such a very long time on the video to do that for you. So I’ve just added a short peek to seeing how you see it is working together. It’s just a matter of putting colorings on top colorings. To start off with. I used a beautifully textured base to start off with. And that presents us a real interest in the artwork. I’ll zoom in to be allowed to “ve got a bit of a” seam, and you can see all that texture lead-in that I’ve being implemented in underneath here to get those textures working for you. Then once you’ve got the texture on, you’ve gotta be able to tape up all of these shapes, and we’ve gotta be able to do that in a manner that is that we are able to hinder those sharp boundaries without color bleeding through where all the rough edges are on the texture underneath.

So I’ll be demonstrating you the step-by-step format on one of my next DVDs in my series. So if are you gonna go to the website, check out the website and check a whole piling of other art lessons with entirely different art styles. So, I hope you enjoyed that. And until next time, happy depict.
