How to Paint Abstract Art – Acrylic Painting Techniques


Today we’re going to be talking about composition and different ways you can get that in your make-ups one channel you can get composition in your make-ups is by utilizing collage ingredients like Rice Paper that have a lot of fibers in them Another channel is to use Xerox Copies of fabrics that have fibers in them on this particular sheet of paper I too added some colored pencil manipulate so this can go into a depict Another channel is you can use stencils

Now this isn’t sold as a stencil it’s some decorative factor you find in places like Home Depot and other hardware stores but I’m going to use it today, and I’m going to scatter some Ink that’s just thinned out a bit I have it in a bit spray bottle.You find these spray bottles at Beauty Supply Stores so when we place this structure up here and then spray into it, we get a textured fabric on the canvas Another channel you can get composition in your make-ups is by taking dye across the canvas and causing the dye disruption So I got some colours that I time put one across here, I place quite a bit on there and then as you can see as I drag this across that’s establishing composition

Another channel you can get composition is with Combs and Tools like These are actual Combs, and you pick them up at Dollar Store for about a dollar and they prepare some entertaining commemorates when you have wet dye on there specially thru thick-skulled dye and sometimes if the paint’s thick-skulled fairly you can get them to continue the marks on down Now another way to get composition when you have some relatively thin paint, if you have thick dye this doesn’t work when you have some fairly thin paint.

See Actually, that needs to be wetter Always deter a spray bottle full of liquid handy have some paper towels handy.

These are implements you are going to use invariably O.K. so I got my dye up there I believe it’s wet enough and I just take a piece of Plastic wrap and I lay that into my depict now you probably won’t be able to tell right now but the plastic wrap is going to create some random commemorates and cables as the dye takes underneath there you’d leave this on there until it’s dry Another channel to do it though and get some composition also is to make some plastic wrap situated it into soggy dye pick up that soaks dye and then is moving forward to another part of the canvas so you’re kind of using the plastic wrap as a stamp you can do that a few meters every time it’s going to make less of a trade mark than the time before yet another way that you can get let me find my Foam Brush now there probably aren’t too many of you that don’t know about this yet but I’m going to show it to you anyway because we got some beginners out there
